Notifications, and how to stop getting too many
What Premo can tell you about, where it tells you, and the one setting everybody shares.
Premo can tell you when something happens. Where it tells you — in the dashboard, by email, or not at all — is set per kind of event under Settings › Notifications.
What you can be told about
Low scores. A response at or below your alert score.
Every new review, including the good ones. Busy workspaces will find this a lot, and it is the setting most worth turning off once you are past the first few weeks.
Jobs with no review — finished, and nobody left feedback.
Jobs running over — still on site long after they were booked to finish.
Jobs closed automatically, when nobody marked one done and Premo closed it.
Jobs marked done, as they are completed.
A branch slipping, when a location's recent average drops.
The Monday update, a weekly summary.
Team activity and billing, and new sign-ins from a device or place your account has not been used from before.
The alert score is shared
The alert score decides which ratings count as low, and everyone in the workspace shares it. Changing it changes what counts as a low score for everybody, not just for you.
Your own choice of what to be told about, and where, is yours alone.
Getting too many
Turn off "every new review" first. It is the one that arrives most and tells you least — the good ones are already on Insights when you want them.
Keep low scores on. That is the one worth interrupting your day for, because it is the one where doing something quickly still changes the outcome.
New sign-ins
Leave this on. It is how you find out that somebody signed in from somewhere you do not recognise, and it costs you nothing on the days nothing happens.
