Billing

Billing, plans and what you are charged for

What a plan covers, when the bill arrives, and what to do about a charge that looks wrong.

Premo is charged per card, monthly. You pay for cards that are out in vans, not for people reading the results — dashboard logins are not capped.

What your account is on

Your plan, what it includes and what you are paying is on the Billing page in Settings. That page reads your live subscription, so it is always right, and it is the only place worth trusting for your own numbers.

Prices for the plans are on the pricing page.

When you are charged

Monthly, from the day you subscribed. An invoice is raised each period and appears on the Billing page, where past ones are listed too.

Adding a card part way through a period is charged pro rata, so you pay for the part of the month you actually have it.

Changing plan

Upgrade from the Billing page. The change applies once the payment goes through, not when you click it, so nothing moves until the money does.

Downgrading takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.

A charge that looks wrong

Check the invoice on the Billing page first — it itemises what was charged and for which cards, and most surprises are an extra card added mid-month.

If it still looks wrong, get in touch with the invoice number. A person reads it, and we will tell you plainly whether it was a mistake.

Why the assistant will not answer this

Ask the in-product assistant about prices, refunds or what your plan covers and it will decline and send you here. That is deliberate. It reports on your feedback and does not speak for us about money — an assistant that guesses at billing gets it confidently wrong, and you would be entitled to hold us to the answer.

For anything about your own account, Settings › Billing has it, and we will confirm anything else.
